Dr Emma Clifton
BMedSci BMBS MRMed FRANZCOG

Dr Emma Clifton is an Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist based in Bendigo, Victoria.

Unfortunately, I am no longer providing private Obstetric care. However, my practice is welcoming new gynaecology and fertility patients.

I am passionate about providing the highest standard of care for my patients from initial gynaecological consultation, all the way to fertility treatment, pregnancy and beyond. I have a calm, relaxed and approachable nature and aim to individualise your care. I am open-minded and well known for my excellent rapport with patients. I am honest, compassionate and friendly.

I advocate for the health and wellbeing of my patients. I believe that everyone has the right to decide if and when they have children and to access high quality health care and support, regardless of their sexuality, ethnicity or gender identity. I am a supporter of the LGBTQI+ community and welcome all patients to my practice.

I grew up in Bendigo and have always been committed to returning to a regional area to provide a high quality, evidence based service. I completed my medical degree at Flinders University, Adelaide and returned to Victoria to undertake specialty Obstetrics and Gynaecology training. I have worked at Mercy Hospital for Women and Northern Health in Melbourne, as well as North East Health Wangaratta and Ballarat Health Services, before completing my specialist training in Bendigo. I have completed a Masters of Reproductive Medicine with UNSW.

Having spent many of my formative years in Bendigo, I understand first hand the importance of access to a broad range of high quality health services in the region. I am committed to continuing the legacy of these services in Bendigo.

I work at Bendigo Health, where I am involved in the training of medical students, junior doctors and future Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I hold appointments at Bendigo Health, St John of God Bendigo, Bendigo Day Surgery, Castlemaine Health and Echuca Regional Health Services.
